More Rain and Clouds in HVAR...

Last night was good. We checked out a new place that served cocktails on the patio with a DJ playing trendy music, and even cool ambient lighting. Very cool. We noticed a lot more English speaking people showing up on the weekend so far. Though there are only 2 channels on the TV with English. It made CSI very hard to watch in German but we figured the story out. Then we slept...
This morning was yet more rain and clouds so we stayed around the apartment till 1:30 or so. We went out to town checked the BLOG and then ate some pizza and pasta for lunch. This day was feeling tired but we decided to go hike up and check out the fortress on the top of the hill.
There were wedding pictures being taken up there. So we checked out the prison in the basement of the fortress first. (wedding pictures were NOT being taken in there for some reason... hmmm, I wonder why...) James scared Dan going down by hiding around the corner. It was funny. The view was great but it would've been better if it was sunny out. Either way it was good cause the rain held off for us. We came back to town and had cappuccinos with out James cause he went back after the fortress for nap time.
Now we are at the apartment relaxing for now. That's the news for now. Tune in next time when James wakes up.
Ryan Out.

Bahhhhhh.....clouds and rain. The forecast for Hvar called for 50% chance of rain today, 40% tomorrow, 20% the next day, and 80% the day after that. At least that what it said a couple of hours ago at 2 PM, Saturday.
You seem to be finding nice places to go. I've been looking at other blogs on Croatia and Hvar.
Stay away from weddings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what's the site address? I just have the email address. I would like to see it.
thanks cp
Better to be stuck in the rain in Hvar, than to be stuck in the rain in Willimantic. Glad you're enjoying it there. Apparently, I would starve. =)

To my wife who is all the way downstairs on another computer... also caught by the clutches of this blog...
I love you!
Yes jon we want to see you in the wine cellar swishing the wine, ha he ha he!
Jon
I better not catch you pilfering wine in my esteemed wine cellar. My wine cellar is armed with all manner of alarms and weaponry.
Watch It!
Jakov
Your Gracious Host
jon has a nice flat top in that picture of the four of you sitting(don't say that word like sean conrey)on the wall. (i dont know how to spell conrey) pip pip
Can he come out of the corner now??? :) Chris is actually out sick from work tonight (I'm working his shift for him), otherwise he'd probably be posting at this very moment.
Ma Keel collects sand too???
Is it just me or does it seem like you are eating pizza alot? (When you're not eating an intact fish, of course. We went to a restaurant in Hartford called La Casona and Chris ordered a whole fish and then bit the head off!!! Can you believe that? You probably can. :) Anyway, back to the subject at hand... Where are you finding pizza at? Is it simply just a global favorite? Is it made the same way as it is here? Probably not. Also, when you had Chinese food a few countries back, were the cooks actually Chinese or were they locals?(Kind of like when we went to that Sushi restaurant in Sedona and we, at least I, didn't see any Japanese staff). Jon knows what I'm talking about. :) Or maybe around here, we're just fortunate to have diversity and therefore somewhat authentic cusine.
Sorry, not Chinese. It was the Mexican food that I was curious about.
So far that is 3 votes for Chris to come back!
Who else is with us? Autum is he showing signs of distress?
Do you make frequent visual checks on him? Has begun telling you what to write in your entries yet?
Come on everyone vote for Chris to come back! It can be as easy as... typing...
"pro chris" or "comeback chris"
Let's give Chris access to a keyboard! Quick! Before he is changed forever more!

Just wanted to drop a line and say hello. Sounds like your trip is amazing! 3 weeks in Europe! Not everyone gets to do that. James the younger misses James - driving around all day in the Big Truck. - I know I didn't comment on this before but that slide thing Dan was on looked like alot of fun - it reminded me of when Jon and I sledded down the mountain on our snowboards =)
By the way my vote was for Chris to come back but I see I'm a little late and he is back already =)
To whoever came up with the blog idea - Its amazing I love it and it has now consumed much of my time =)
