Hello to our American friends! Well, we are back in town after a nice Dalmatian supper hosted by Jakov and Maja, our hosts at the apartment. (We are enclosing a picture of them with us, because the pics we took of Jakov alone looked just like the internet pics; we want to prove we are legit.)
We had whole fishes—Jakov called them comarča--with olive oil and garlic. And a pre-dinner wine, and wine with dinner, and a dessert wine. Jakov made them all.
I have to go to the bathroom now.Talk to you later.
P.s. today we saw a 15 foot yacht (jon and ryan say it was 60 feet; maybe they are right—I am not good with lengths). It was registered in newport, which means it sailed all the way here. I wanted to ask them if we could go for a ride, on account of our being neighbors, but jon was afraid.

FIsh looks good...what kind was it? Love the pics. By the way, who is posting all these, Ryan or Dan? THey all say they were posted by Ryan. Guess what it's doing today outside?...huh?....can you guess? That's right! IT'S RAINING...seems to be a trend.
Eat more fish and drink more wine. Do they have octopus and squids there at the restaurants? You should eat them.

Yep Daniel, you got a little tan going on there. So, lemon and grape juice was your fruit and vegetable group, huh? :) It's good to hear about all the wonderfully hospitable people you're meeting.

I went bike riding this morning and then came home and had fish eggs with breakfast wine it was smashing. Raining it is and I have to go to work. Hope ya'll are have a splended time. Well got one more glass of mid morning wine to drink and off i go. TYPE YA LATER (0 0) - * - \___/

How's everyone doing? Hopefully you are enjoying God's beautiful creation out there. The pictures are incredible. Laur, loves this site and told me to check it out. James, we missed you biking this morning. We had a good group despite the rain, but it just made it all the more better. I've never had a bad day in the woods yet. Miss you brothers. Great pictures of the group and you're right, that is the authentic Jakov. He looks exactly as he does on the apartment website.
I got up at 5:30 AM and almost went hiking with Steve and Alissa and Aaron...............almost. I even had my yellow raincoat ready. I'm getting closer to actually getting up and going out in the rain. Soon!
What are you guys doing in the picture taken on the rocks? It is so beautiful there.

dear ryan, dan, james and jon, wow! i feel like i'm talking to the beatles or the apostles or somethin! how are you guys? i miss you all. i love that picture of the shopping by the water and the european villa. boy! a girl could have the best of both worlds shopping and the ocean fix all in one package. wish i was there. you must be having the time of your lives. so glad you were all waited on so graciously by that wonderful havartian couple. good good good. be glad to see you next week - ryan you can shave if you want to. love ya. balonie
Lately, Hvar island has also become the perfect destination for those celebrities who are searching for a quiet place, away from those annoying paparazzi. Among these celebrities are Steven Spielberg, Andre Agassi, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, or the Traveling Connecticut Brothers and if you don't believe it, you should just check the hotel's visitor books. So, who knows into what superstar you might run into?
I had giant grilled squid. It was BIG and chewy and I might not have it for WHILE. We are also in APT #3.

When you say that you miss Chris and Come back soon, does that mean that he is pardoned? Can he return earlier than the time he imposed upon himself? Hey-- I like fish bit I would have a hard time eating it with that eye staring up at me. I like the group pics--they look like very nice people--all the pics have been good so far. Glad all of you are having fun. Work was crazy as most Saturday nights are. We seem to have less people evry week. By the time you get home Dan I might be the only on left!!
